Description

AVSX Technologies is seeking an Experienced Service and Installation Technician for Home Security.   We have world-class installation standards and exceptional customer service.  Our Technicians are responsible for the following:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service in regards to installation and training of equipment for all customers. 
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing security, home automation, CCTV, and video systems.
  • Planning and performing work requiring a thorough knowledge of low voltage electrical/electronic principles, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
  • Completing all paperwork and contracts per company guidelines.
  • Maintaining up-to-date awareness of company policies, activities, and industry trends
  • Working with corporate office, sales and support teams to ensure proper communication of customer needs in order to deliver excellence in regards to all activities.
  • Maintaining company required performance standards and records.
  • Assisting and training sales, customer service, and other installers /or other technical level employees.
  • Inventory - maintaining accurate inventory and equipment for installations, service calls or trouble tickets. 
  • Performs other duties as required.

The position, though very independent, reports directly for training, support and follow-up with additional support provided by the corporate office and leadership as communicated at time of hiring. Technicians will be required to follow all install and service guidelines set forth by the company and must abide by all applicable state laws and regulations set for the by the licensing board for the state(s) they are qualified in, a process which requires 100% compliance. Our shared goal will be to create a world-class customer experience in order to continue the delivery of excellence in regards to providing a culture geared solely towards a family-first environment at all times.

  • Excellent customer and team member relation skills.
  • Ability to install, configure, and teach basic to complex home technology solutions.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, to stand for long periods of time on a ladder, lift over 70 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, and work in all climates.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings.
  • Maintains the ability to BRING IT at all times!
